Guarantee Information:

 *  All puppies will be examined by a licensed Veterinarian prior to delivery, as evidenced by the Health Certificate or Vet Health Records provided to you at time of purchase.  Any expenses incurred medical or otherwise after shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.  Shipping expenses are never refunded.

 *  Buyer is responsible for having the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery and should provide preventative care such as, but not limited to, annual physical examinations by licensed vet, and follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and deworming.

 *  If, within the first 72 hours, your Veterinarian identifies a “health issue” which clearly the puppy obtained prior to shipping, we will refund purchase price of puppy.  Buyer must return original puppy, with a written report from Veterinarian and registration papers, to the breeder within 48 hours of notifying the breeder, at buyer’s expense.

 *  There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e.: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this Guarantee.  None of these factors have been noted in any of our dogs or puppies, unless previously disclosed to you.

  *  The breeder guarantees a healthy companion pet, but does not guarantee adult size, color, and temperament.  Nor does breeder guarantee fitness for breeding.

*   An umbilical hernia is the most common type of hernia found in puppies and are often just "delayed closures" of the abdominal wall.  In the case of umbilical hernias, a portion of fat protrudes through an incompletely closed umbilical ring.  Umbilical hernias may be present at birth, or may be acquired.  The most common means of acquiring an umbilical hernia is as a result of the umbilical cord being severed too close to the abdominal wall by the mother.   In most cases umbilical hernias are small and reduce as the puppy grows.  Generally, by the time the pup is six months old the umbilical hernia will shrink and disappear on its own.  A small umbilical hernia is not life threatening and in no way interferes with the quality of life of the puppy and does not warrant return of money.

*   An inguinal hernia is the result of abdominal organs, fat or tissue protruding through the inguinal ring.  Inguinal hernias are presented as skin-covered bulges in the groin.  They can be bilateral, involving both sides, or unilateral, involving only one side.   As with umbilical hernias most inguinal hernias will shrink and disappear as the puppy grows, although you must keep an eye on the size of the hernia(s).  Because of the small size of the puppies, an inguinal hernia is often not detected by the Vet until the puppy is 6 or 8 weeks old, and even then may not be conclusively detected.  If at the time of the Vet Check and shots, an inguinal hernia is detected, I will immediately disclose the findings to the buyer.  My Vet cannot perform a hernia surgery prior to 12 weeks of age, at the earliest.   However, I will refund $150 to the buyer to allow the new owner to use the funds toward the hernia repair by their own vet.    Hernia repairs do not warrant return of money as it is not life threatening and in no way interferes with the quality of life of the puppy.

  *  AKC papers or other registration papers will be supplied or mailed as soon as breeder receives them.  Normally they are received at the time you pick-up your puppy.
